The 4-Elements System
A Martial Art System based on Western World Views
When one studies most Asian Martial Arts, one is inundated with the belief systems of the cultures they come from.
You learn Buddhism, Shinto, Daoism, Confucianism as you learn Karate and Gongfu. You learn about a Universe made of the five elements: Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, and Wood – or the world divided into the 8 symbols…
But what about a system built on a belief system that you already have in the bag?
There is no reason that a martial art or fighting system cannot be built on the four classical elements of Earth, Air, Fire, and Water used in Greek Philosophy, Golden Dawn, or Wicca.
